Cindi and Steve Murphy started Sugar Island Cupcakes on December 12, 2008 on Taylor street at the Punta Gorda Downtown Merchant's Association Farmers Market.

After much success, a search began for a home for our new cupcake venture.  The perfect location was selected one street over.  And now, our new location is 3769 Acline Road is even bigger!    We also will continue to make custom designer wedding cakes (www.bakedoccasions.com) also at the new Acline Road store, and sell our cupcakes at our trailer at the Farmers Market in Punta Gorda.   See directions for more details!
